These Terms of Use ("Terms") are a legal agreement between you and Mission Based Media LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our").
These Terms govern your use of HealthPodcast.org and its affiliated websites: healthpodcastlibrary.com, healthpodcastawards.com, healthpodcastsummit.com, and healthpodcastshow.com (collectively, the "Platform").
By using the Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Platform.
Who Can Use the Platform
You must be at least 18 years old to use the Platform. By using it, you represent that you're 18 or older and legally able to enter into this agreement.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we'll post the updated version here and change the "Effective Date" above.
Your continued use of the Platform after changes means you accept the new Terms. Check back periodically for updates.

What We Offer
Health Podcast Library
A discovery platform where you can browse and find health and science podcasts. You can create a free account to follow podcasts and get recommendations.
Memberships for Podcast Creators
Podcast creators can join as members. Membership has eligibility requirements, fees, and separate agreements. Members must agree to our Health Content Integrity Pledge.
Sponsorships
Companies can sponsor the Platform. Sponsorships are governed by separate agreements.
Health Podcast Awards
Our annual awards program. Participation is subject to specific rules and eligibility requirements.
Health Podcast Summit
Our conference event. Attendance is subject to event-specific terms.
Your Account
We can withdraw or change the Platform anytime without notice. We're not liable if the Platform is unavailable for any reason.
Registration
To use certain features, you'll need to create an account. All information you provide must be accurate and current.
Security
Keep your password confidential. Don't share your account with anyone. Notify us immediately at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access.
We can disable your account anytime if we believe you've violated these Terms.
Ownership and Intellectual Property
All Platform content—text, graphics, logos, images, audio, software—is owned by us, our members, or our licensors and is protected by copyright and trademark laws.
You get a limited license to use the Platform for personal, non-commercial purposes. You can't:
- Copy, modify, or distribute Platform content
- Use content for commercial purposes without permission
- Remove copyright or attribution notices
- Use data mining, robots, or automated tools
- Reverse engineer any part of the Platform
The HealthPodcast.org name and logo are our trademarks. Don't use them without permission.
Podcast Submissions
When podcast creators submit their podcasts via RSS feed, they're providing publicly available information. We collect what's already public: titles, descriptions, artwork, audio files, and other RSS feed metadata.
Health Content Integrity Pledge
Members must agree to our Health Content Integrity Pledge, which sets content standards.
By submitting a podcast, you represent that:
- You have the legal right to distribute your content
- Your content complies with applicable laws
- Your content doesn't infringe anyone's intellectual property
- You agree to the Pledge (if you're a member)
Hosting Requirements
Members must host podcasts on their Megaphone account or another approved service. We don't host audio files.
Rules of Conduct
Don't use the Platform to:
- Violate any laws
- Impersonate anyone
- Interfere with the Platform's operation
- Try to gain unauthorized access
- Introduce viruses or malicious code
- Harvest user information
- Use it for unauthorized advertising
Third-Party Links
The Platform may link to third-party websites we don't control. We're not responsible for their content or practices. Use them at your own risk.

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. WE DON'T GUARANTEE IT WILL BE ERROR-FREE, UNINTERRUPTED, OR SECURE.
Limits on Our Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE'RE NOT LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES.
IF YOU'RE DISSATISFIED WITH THE PLATFORM OR THESE TERMS, YOUR ONLY REMEDY IS TO STOP USING THE PLATFORM.
You Agree to Indemnify Us
You agree to defend and hold us harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your violation of these Terms
- Your violation of anyone's rights
- Your violation of any laws
Email Communications
By using the Platform or emailing us, you consent to receive electronic communications from us. These satisfy any legal requirement for written communication.
Memberships and Sponsorships
Podcast creator memberships and sponsorships are governed by separate written agreements that specify fees, payment terms, and refund policies.
Browsing and listening to podcasts on the Platform is free. We may change this in the future with notice.
Events
Health Podcast Awards
Participation is subject to specific rules posted separately. By submitting a podcast, you agree to all Awards rules.
Health Podcast Summit
Attendance may require registration and fees. Event terms will be provided at registration.
You participate in our events at your own risk and agree to release us from any claims arising from your attendance.
Copyright and DMCA
We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on the Platform, notify our copyright agent:

Your notice must include:
- Your signature (physical or electronic)
- Identification of the copyrighted work

- A statement under penalty of perjury that you're authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf
Termination
We can suspend or terminate your access to the Platform anytime, with or without notice, if we believe you've violated these Terms.
You can delete your account anytime by contacting [email protected].
Even after termination, you're still bound by these Terms' provisions on warranties, disclaimers, and liability limits.
Disputes and Legal Stuff
Try to Resolve Disputes Informally First
Before filing a lawsuit, contact us at [email protected] to try to resolve the issue. We'll attempt resolution within 45 days.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Delaware law, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Where Lawsuits Must Be Filed
Any legal action must be brought exclusively in federal or state courts in Delaware. You consent to jurisdiction there and waive any objections.
Time Limit for Claims
You must bring any claim within one (1) year after it arises. After that, it's barred.
No Class Actions
ALL DISPUTES WILL BE RESOLVED INDIVIDUALLY. NO CLASS ACTIONS, COLLECTIVE ACTIONS, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTIONS ARE ALLOWED.
No Jury Trials
YOU AND WE BOTH WAIVE THE RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL.
General Terms
Entire Agreement
These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Disclaimer are the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Platform.
Severability
If any provision is found invalid, the rest of these Terms remain in effect.
No Waiver
Our failure to enforce any provision doesn't waive our right to enforce it later.
Can't Transfer
You can't assign these Terms or your rights without our permission. We can assign them anytime.
International Use
The Platform is intended for use in the United States. If you're accessing from elsewhere, you're responsible for complying with local laws.
